My little Avery got here in November!

ok, ok. I cannot believe it is already February. I am a BAD blogger...but i promise to work on it!

Well, most of you already know that Avery was born November 11th, 2009 at 5:07 PM. She weighed 8lb 11 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. She has very long toes and fingers and has a smile that melts my heart.

The birth of little Avery, my last baby and first little girl, was what one might call a "zen" experience and if you know me, that is quite a spectacular phenomenon. I cannot say that I have ever done anything in my life with it being "zen" and I can truly say that I have my midwives and my Aunt Donna to thank for that. My aunt got to the hospital around 10AM and stayed until the last minute (she had to leave and go pick up Noah at school). She kept me calm and kept Zack company and while I occasionally get sad about the lack of relationships with women in my family, this was when they really stepped up to the plate. My cousin Tiana stayed with Noah for nearly 3 days, and my aunt Donna helped also. I am so grateful that they were there for me, we could NOT have done this without them.
The nurses, the hospital and the midwives were awesome and I got to have 2 midwives there. it's almost like God knew how special this would be for me...wow, thank you...

Little Avery will be 4 months old in March and I cannot believe this time has gone by. Since Avery was born, Zack has graduated with his Bachelor's in Accounting and started a job as an auditor for a small accounting firm. He has been officially accepted in the MBA program at UH and will be starting that once I graduate. Noah is finally getting adjusted to Avery but once the little man gets used to things the way things are, we go and change them. Poor Noah!

I am going to write more later but I just wanted to write SOMETHING so I could get back into the swing of things. School has started back and my sanity is being restored (post-natal insanity lessening) so my blogging should become more frequent. I love my little noah and little avery is such a doll. I know in my heart of hearts that I was made to birth, nurture and to love children...I am so thankful for that.
I pronise I will write more later and put up a ton of pictures! I must get my butt to sleep!
